LIBRARIAN ACCEPTS AWARD
Calvert Mason (second from left), manager of both the library's Reidsville branch and Outreach Department, recently visited our nation's capitol to accept the Program Excellence Honors award from the Reading Is Fundamental organization. The award is presented annually to local Reading Is Fundamental programs that have advanced children's literacy in their communities and helped families discover the joys of reading. The library's Outreach Department won the award for their Drop-In Library program.

RIF IS READY TO GO
The library's Outreach Department is ready for another summer of RIF, Reading Is Fundamental. This program provides free books to children and teens across Rockingham County and is funded
locally by a grant from Wal-Mart.
