WIRELESS
All library branches offer wireless Internet accessibility, also known as Wi-Fi. However, users are expected to know how to access and use wireless Internet connectivity. A handout is available with suggestions and tips, but staff can provide only minimal assistance to wireless users due to time constraints and workload.

APPLE FOUNDATION ANNOUNCES $25,000 GRANT FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF THE WESTERN BRANCH LIBRARY
The Ben R. and Lemma M. Apple Foundation announced a grant of $25,000 to the Rockingham County Public Library in support of the construction of the Western Branch Library, which will serve the citizens of Madison, Mayodan, and western Rockingham County. Jay Stephens, director of the library, accepted the check from Mr. Ben T. Vernon, Jr., Senior Trustee of the Apple Foundation.

FRIENDS OF THE EDEN LIBRARY PROGRAMS
The Friends of the Eden Library are sponsoring a photography workshop on March 26 at 6:30 p.m. Katharin Crouch of Katharin Crouch Photography will be available to share tips and techniques for taking great digital photos.
On April 14 the Friends of the Eden Library will hold their annual dinner at 6:30 p.m. at the Eden library. North Carolina author and humorist Marianne Gingher will be speaking. The cost for dinner and the program is $10 per person.

REIDSVILLE LIBRARY AUTHOR PROGRAM AND BOOK SALE
Local Author Night at the Reidsville library will take place on March 24 at 6:30 p.m. The Friends of the Reidsville Library annual book sale will be held April 17-18. There will be a preview sale for members of the Friends on April 16 from 4:00 p.m.-6:00 p.m.
